1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Tennis UTC platform (“Service”), including registering for an account, joining a league, or participating in any tournament, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

These terms apply to all users of the platform, including players, parents or guardians of minor participants, and any visitors to the site.

2. Eligibility

To use Tennis UTC, you must:

  • Be at least 10 years of age (participants under 18 require parental or guardian consent)
  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Have the legal authority to agree to these terms, or have a parent/guardian do so on your behalf

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. Tennis UTC is not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized account access.

You may not create an account on behalf of another person without their permission, or use false information when registering.

4. Participation Rules

All participants agree to:

  • Follow official USTA Rules of Tennis during all matches
  • Exhibit fair play, sportsmanship, and respect toward all other players, organizers, and facilities
  • Self-officiate matches honestly — players are responsible for calling their own lines fairly
  • Participate in the correct age group and level as registered
  • Not engage in any form of cheating, harassment, or unsportsmanlike conduct

Tennis UTC reserves the right to disqualify any player or remove them from the platform for violations of fair play or these terms.

5. Entry Fees & Refunds

Some tournaments require an entry fee to participate. The fee amount is displayed on the tournament registration page.

Refunds are available under the following conditions:

  • Refund requests must be submitted at least 48 hours before the tournament start time. Processing fee is non-refundable.
  • Requests made less than 48 hours before the event are not eligible for a refund
  • If a tournament is cancelled by Tennis UTC, a full refund will be issued to all registered participant
  • To request a refund, please contact us at info@tennisutc.com with your name and tournament details.

6. Assumption of Risk

Participation in tennis and physical sports involves inherent risks of injury. By participating in Tennis UTC events, you acknowledge and accept these risks. Tennis UTC, its organizers, and volunteers are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from participation in events.

Parents and guardians of minor participants accept these risks on behalf of their child by allowing them to register and participate.

7. Photo & Media Release

By participating in Tennis UTC events, you grant Tennis UTC permission to photograph, record, and use your likeness for promotional and community purposes, including on the website and social media. If you do not consent, please notify us in writing before the event.

8. Modifications to Terms

Tennis UTC reserves the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
